Baritone Ukulele, Asymmetric Slotted Headstock

This baritone has a 20 inch scale, 1 7/16 inch nut (36.5 mm) and 14 frets clear of the body.  The back and sides are quilted western maple with a locally salvaged redwood top.  The laminated Spanish cedar neck is joined to the body using a stright mortise then glued and bolted in place. The bolt is recessed and covered by a decorative wooden “rosebud” held in place by a magnet.  The headstock is asymmetrically slotted with a paua abalone gecko inlay, and has Rubner brass tuners with ebony buttons.  The body, fingerboard and headstock are bound with faux tortoise shell binding bound fingerboard, bridge, and HS overlay are macassar ebony.  The bridge is a “through bridge” design which is cosmetically cleaner and provides structural and tonal advantages.  This Uke has a double action truss rod.  This instrument is slightly used with some light dings on the top accounted for a discounted price.
